Being early Elementary school age, I don't remember the details of the actual game but looking at the box score on baseball reference, I see the game ended with a Fred Lynn pinch hit walk off HR. Sadly, August 28 was also the date of Alan Wiggins' final major league game. Deron, if you are able to track down the photos you have from that night, feel free to email them to me (tubbsbaseballblog at gmail dot com) & I will repost the pictures I have here with yours included since with the 30th anniversary of these photos being taken, I was thinking of posting them again. Also if anyone else has pictures from that night, I'd love to see them. Thanks again for finding out what night these pictures were taken, Deron!John Tubertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02319696129461138092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6849359023607717471.post-24936619671193090392017-05-23T23:19:51.137-04:002017-05-23T23:19:51.137-04:00Found someone on Ebay auctioning off the 1987 sche...Found someone on Ebay auctioning off the 1987 schedule and asked them to look at the promotions schedule for the Onfield Photo Night and they came back with...August 28, 1987. My birthday is in August so I'm thinking the game had to be in the month -- would still really love to know the exact date. It must be represented on a pocket schedule from that year because my memory is that's how I originally found about it. Will report back if I'm able to track it down.duphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01568134603161837380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6849359023607717471.post-61737234124972727422012-04-04T11:02:47.546-04:002012-04-04T11:02:47.546-04:00If anyone knows the exact date of the game for Fuj...If anyone knows the exact date of the game for Fuji Photo Night feel free to add a comment to this blog. Since both Billy Ripken and Alan Wiggins are pictured the game most likely took place between July 11 (Ripken's first major league game) and August 28 (Wiggins' last major league game). The other player in Fred Lynn's picture is most likely Jim Dwyer who hit 15 home runs in just 281 plate appearances in 1987.John Tubertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02319696129461138092noreply@blogger.com
